This is the place where Andres Bonifacio, founder of the Katipunan, was on trial before he was executed at Mt. Buntis.
Andres Bonifacio, one of the great Filipino heroes and called “Supremo” (Supreme Leader), founded the Katipunan (Kataastaasang Kagalanggalangang Katipunan “KKK” ng mga Anak ng Bayan which means Highest and Most Respected Society of the Children of the Country) in July 7, 1892 to fight the Spanish colonial rule in the Philippines. And he is also considered by some historians to be the first President, but still not officially recognized.
This place is open from Tuesday to Sunday (8am to 4pm)
This was the place where Bonifacio and his brother Procopio were court-marshalled on May 1897.
Then both of them were shot at Mt Buntis on May 10, 1897
This house was erected in 1889 by Teodorico Reyes.
