This is the house replica of Apolinario Mabini, a Philippine hero often referred to as "the Sublime Paralytic", and as "the Brains of the Revolution." This replica is located inside the Mabini Shine, the birthplace of Mabini. Mabini was born on July 23, 1864 in Barangay Talaga in Tanauan City, Batangas. He was the second of eight children of Dionisia Maranan, a vendor in the Tanauan market, and Inocencio Mabini, an unlettered peasant.

The Mabini Shrine - Memorabilia
Apolinario Mabini is a nationalist, hero, writer, political philosopher, revolutionary and a teacher. Mabini was born on July 23, 1864 in Barangay Talaga in Tanauan, Batangas. He was the second of eight children of Dionisia Maranan, a vendor in the Tanauan market, and Inocencio Mabini, an unlettered peasant. He came from a poor family.
He joined the revolution and became the Filipino political philosopher and revolutionary who wrote a constitutional plan for the first Philippine republic of 1899-1901, and served as its first prime minister in 1899. He also became Emiliio Aguinaldo’s (first Philippine President) main consultant.
On January 1896, he was paralyzed because of Pollio. Then he was imprisoned by Spaniards on October 1896 and by Americans on 1899. He was then exiled in Guam on January 15, 1901 and returned to Philippines on February 26, 1903. He died in Manila on May 13, 1903.
The Mabini Shine is located along Talisay-Tanauan road at Barangay Talaga, Tanauan Batangas. Apolinario Mabini, one of the Philippine heroes of the revolution, often referred to as "the Sublime Paralytic", and as "the Brains of the Revolution."

The Mabini Shrine
Apolinario Mabini often referred to as "the Sublime Paralytic", and as "the Brains of the Revolution." To his enemies and detractors, he is referred to as the "Dark Chamber of the President" but to many Filipinos he is one of the Philippine heroes of the revolution against the Spaniards and the Americans.

Minor Basilica of Immaculate Conception - Batangas City

This Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is located in the heart of Batangas City, the provincial capital of the Province of Batangas
Church History

· The church was offered to the Immaculate Conception
· The foundation of the second church was positioned in the year 1601
· Church construction from 1682 to 1721
· In 1693, a convent was added, along with some artillery to ward-off pirates.
· And then the 2nd church was torn down after 179 years.
· In 1851, Fr. Pedro Cuesta had the current church constructed.
· It was blessed on February 2, 1857
· Established as a Minor Basilica on February 13, 1948.

José Paciano Laurel y García (March 9, 1891 – November 6, 1959) was the president of the Republic of the Philippines, a Japanese-sponsored administration during World War II, from 1943 to 1945. He was the 3rd President of the Philippines and President of the Second Republic.
Laurel received his law degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 1915, where he studied under Dean George A. Malcolm, whom he would later succeed on the Supreme Court. He then obtained a Master of Laws degree from University of Santo Tomas in 1919. Laurel then attended Yale Law School, where he obtained a Doctorate of Law.
