This is known internationally for its long sandy beach, varied accommodation, many restaurants and bars, and many renowned surfers who visit from Australia. However, during our stay there are many constructions going on and it is not nice scene. See a glimpse of Kuta Beach in the video.
There is a Shopping Mall beside the beach called “Discovery Shopping Mall”. This is the entrance to the mall facing the Kuta beach.
You can buy a lot of souvenir items inside this mall.

But if you want cheaper items, you should go outside the mall and walk into the street. There are lots of stalls and shop on the side street wherein you can avail items at a lower price. You can even haggle the price. “Mahal” means expensive while “Murah” means cheap in their local dialect. Side street shops just like the picture below.
