The Kegon Waterfall

In Nikko, Japan

The Kegon Waterfall is one of the three most beautiful waterfalls in Japan. The almost 100 meter tall Kegon Waterfall (Kegon no taki) is the most famous waterfall in Nikko.  It is the only exit for the waters of Lake Chuzenji. My friends and I visited the place during the last month of autumn (Nov) that is why most of the trees are withered.

Take a closer view on the pretty majestic Kegon Waterfall.

When you visited Nikko, the Kegon Waterfall should always be in your list.
I am on the viewing deck at Chuzenji Onsen complex

How to get there?
Kegon Waterfall is a short walk from the Chuzenjiko Onsen bus terminal. The bus ride from JR or Tobu Nikko Station to Chuzenjiko Onsen takes about 50 minutes. The Chuzenji-ko bus typically ran every half-hour.
