Mount
Pinatubo is an active
stratovolcano located on the island of Luzon, near the Philippine provinces of Zambales,
Tarlac, and Pampanga.
My wife and her friends visited Mt Pinatubo last April 2012.
It was a fun
ride traveling thru dust, rocky road and streams.
Then
trekking going to the crater-lake accompanied by the tour guides (included in
the tour package)
Then they walk
thru lahar sand, rocky streams and uphill dunes.
Do not
forget to drink lots of water (quench your thirst - rehydrate)
Getting near
already… Whoa, what a wonderful sight… The Pinatubo Crater-Lake…
Now, going
down to the Crater-Lake
Swim anyone??
Do not over soak yourself on the lake because of sulfuric content…
Then boat
ride going to the other side of the crater-lake where the water is much hotter because of volcanic
activities underneath
The water
bubbles in this area
This ends
the tour… They will go back to the pick-up point where they started…
How to get there?
Get the Mt.
Pinatubo packages…
