One early morning, me and my friends chilling out (which is freezing literally) with Mt. Nantai in the background
Mount Nantai (also called Futarasan) is a stratovolcano in the Nikkō National Park in central Honshū, the main island of Japan. It stands at 2,486 m high. This prominent landmark can be seen on clear days from as far as the Pacific coast, 100 km away.
We are at 1,274m above sea level, higher than Mt Makiling (1,090m) and Tagaytay (634m) but a little lower than Mt Bulusan (1,565m) and Baguio (1,500m)

How to get there?
From Tokyo, ride the Tobu Asakusa Station which can be accessed by subway (Ginza and Asakusa Subway Lines). There are hourly rapid trains between Asakusa and Nikko which will take you for 2 hours travel time.
